The Delaware Association of Second Amendment Lawyers (DASAL) and the Delaware Lawyers’ Chapter of the Federalist Society presented its twelfth annual Delaware Firearms Law Seminar in October at the Delaware Law School.

I discussed some of the recent landmark decisions shaping Delaware jurisprudence on the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Other panelists included counsel from the National Rifle Association, as well as Joel Nolette of the Wiley Rein firm, and Jonathan Goldstein of the Pennsylvania bar. My seminar materials are available at this link. I discuss Delaware Supreme Court decisions interpreting Article I, Section 20 of the Delaware Constitution, which is Delaware’s analog to the Second Amendment, and related court decisions.

I have been asked to speak at the annual National Firearms Seminar, which is a CLE sponsored each year by the NRA, and this year will be held in Houston in April 2026.
