Scott v. Wilmington Trust Co.  This is a pending Chancery Court case (that is still in discovery)  in which the beneficiary seeks to have the trustee removed. This claim is one that is within the Delaware Chancery Court’s jurisdiction though many people are not aware that such matters are within the limited jurisdiction of the Chancery Court. Here  is an article about the case, with background facts, that appeared on the front page of today’s News Journal.  My firm represents the beneficiary. No decision on the merits has yet been made by the Court.
