At the recent Annual ABA Meeting in Chicago, at one of the presentations of the Corporate Governance Committee of the Business Law Section, a task force issued its 51-page report, with 137 footnotes, regarding whether the rights and roles in large U.S. public corporations of shareholders and directors are shifting, and if so, what the implications are of any such shift.
