Delaware Corporate Law Explained in Taiwan

Justice Randy Holland of the Delaware Supreme Court as well as Kevin Brady and Zhun Lu of the Connolly Bove firm, recently traveled to Taiwan to make presentations to members of the bench and bar in Taiwan, to explain Delaware corporate law, at the invitation of Taiwan's Chief Justice. The press release from the Delaware Supreme Court here and the press release from the Connolly Bove firm here  provide more details. An excerpt from the Supreme Court's press release follows:

Justice Holland gave nine speeches on Delaware corporate law to the entire judiciary of Taiwan, the Taiwan Stock Exchange, the Taiwan Law Society and two of Taiwan’s major law schools.

Justice Holland was the keynote speaker at a program organized by the Taiwan Corporate Governance Association. That event also featured the Vice President of Taiwan, Vincent Hsiao and Chief Justice Lai. Both of them praised Delaware’s leadership in the area of corporate law.
